Osseointegration of CeraRoot implants

Osseointegration of CeraRoot implants can be measured with an instrument called Periotest M.

Now it is even simpler to perform an objective evaluation of an implant's stability.

What many implantologists are looking for is a simple and quick method of gaining an objective statement as to whether the CeraRoot implants they have made, have become well osseointegrated and can be loaded.

The device is activated by a single switch and the measuring sequence begins forthwith.

The test results are shown on the instrument's integral display.

Periotest Value Range at 3 months after implant placement:

-8 to 0                                          Good osseointegration. The implant is well integrated and ready to be restored.

+1 to +9                                       The application of pressure on the implant is generally NOT yet possible.

+10 to +50                                  Osseointegration is insufficient ad no pressure may be aloud to act on the implant.
