Dexter K. Flemming, DDS, MS

Dr. Flemming was born and raised in the Caribbean Island of Trinidad and after earning a scholarship, he attended the University of the West Indies Dental School.  After earning his DDS degree, Dr. Flemming completed a general practice residency, oral medicine residency and masters of science in oral biology at the University of Missouri, Kansas City.  Dr. Flemming then served as a clinical assistant professor and assistant general practice residency director at the University of Michigan school of dentistry.  Following this, Dr. Flemming enrolled at the Ohio State University and completed an oral maxillofacial residency.  Dr. Flemming then purchased the practice of Dr. Gilbert Kleiff and entered into private practice in September 2007.

Dr. Flemming practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.

As a dedicated husband and father of two, Dr. Flemming has many interests outside of oral surgery.  He enjoys traveling, sports and is involved in his church.
