CeraRoot 12

Upper Lateral Incisors and lower incisors

10 mm / 12 mm / 14 mm

ZrO2 – zirconium oxide – zirconia – (Y-TZP)

The diameter of the implant is 4.1 mm in the apical area and 4.1 mm in the most coronal threaded part. The transgingival part is 4.1 mm wide.

This is a ONE-PIECE implant (monoblock). The space between the occlusal part of the abutment and the antagonist should be around 1.5 mm. The abutment is designed to avoid grinding once the implant is inserted into the socket. It has an abutment ready to restore. The gum heals around the uncovered abutment during the 3-4 months after surgery.

4.- Case 4: Extraction of upper lateral incisor and immediate placement of implant. The last picture and xray is 2 years follow-up. Bone graft particles was added inside the socket after the implant was placed. Very little gingivectomy was done using laser or electrosurgery after 4 month post-op. Emax crown with inside zirconia core called CeraCrown.

5.- Case 5: Extraction of upper lateral incisor which had a large infection. The infections was cleaned and grafted with bone graft, and to close the socket, a gingival graft (from the posterior part of the palate) was sutured on the entrance of the socket. The patient started with Invisalign (orthodontic treatment) to align the teeth and close the diastema, and a few months later the CeraRoot 12 implant was placed. After around 4 months after the implant was placed, a temporary crown was created until the orthodontic treatment was finished. Once all the teeth were well aligned, the final “Emax” crown (all-ceramic) crown was cemented on the implant. The patient is extremely satisfied with the end result.

6.- Case 6: Two zirconia implants (CeraRoot 12) placed on each lateral incisor.
